Alla Fay Graves Pierce Hess Brown passed away on December 12, 2018, in The Woodlands, Texas. Alla Fay was a force of nature, who made her presence known to all around her. In her professional life she was an x-ray technician, bank officer, and an office manager. She ran a tight household while raising two boys with her husband as they moved from West Texas, Arizona and New Mexico. Upon retirement they returned to Kingsland, Texas to enjoy the lake, fishing and family. During her 88 years on this earth, Alla Fay enjoyed playing golf, dancing, rodeos (especially bull riding), card games, reading, the Yankees, making pecan pies, fishing and traveling the country to visit family and friends in an RV. Her sense of humor and stories were known by those around her, who called her Mom, Grandma, and GG. She is survived by a sister and brother in law, Peggy and Eugene Hodge, sister in law, Margaret Baumfalk, two sons and their families: Rick and Joni Pierce, Dale and Helen Pierce, stepchildren and their families: Randall and Linda Hess, Jana and Mike Simpson, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and husband Lawrence Brown. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Marie and William Graves, two husbands Jack Pierce and Roy Hess, brother Don Graves, a grandson Philip Hess, and a great grandson Koda Blocker.
