Carmen E. Smith

Carmen E. Smith, 54, passed away on August 6, 2019 in The Woodlands, Texas. Carmen was born in Lake City, Florida on July 18,1965 to Harold Smith  and Hazel Knight.  She is survived by her life partner, Alberto Pena and children Danielle Coutee and Jarad Ware. Carmen was a devoted and loving Mother.  She made sacrifices to ensure her family was well take care of. She didn't believe in microwaves, all of her food was homemade with love.  She tended to her garden and knitting; Carmen was never afraid to get her hands dirty, even when it came to working on cars.  She was women of transparency and honesty, if she felt something needed to be addressed in her family or public, she would address then and there.  Her strong will and devotion made her a Mother without fail.  She will be deeply missed and always remembered by those whose life she touched, especially her family.
