In Loving Memory of Charlie L. Abercrombie
Charlie L. Abercrombie, 74, passed away on November 19, 2020 due to complications from Covid-19.
Charlie was born to John D. Abercrombie and Evelyn (Moore) Abercrombie on December 26, 1945 in Houston, Texas.
Charlie attend TCU and received his BA from Sam Houston State University. He proudly served his county during the Vietnam War as a Captain in the United States Army.
Charlie and his loving wife, Becky, were married for 45 years and both residents of Spring, Texas for the past 44 years. He retired after teaching high school mathematics and coached many years at NW 45 Baseball and was a board member of NW 45. Charlie loved working in his yard and grew and cared for his flowers and greenery.
Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, John D. Abercrombie, Evelyn A. Abercrombie and brother, Dan Abercrombie.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Becky Abercrombie, sons, Mark Donaho and Charles Abercrombie. Becky’s children that he raised as his own Melissa Walkoviak and Matthew Hoffpauir, ,ten grandchildren and a host of cousins and friends.
A private graveside service will be held at Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
