Colin Perry

On April 9, 1951 Colin Jack Perry was born in Fayetteville, AR, to Jack & Mary Perry of Springdale, AR. He was the oldest of seven children. On June 1, 1978 Colin married the love of his life & true soulmate, Diann Bailey in a quaint ceremony on Arbor Acres Lake in Harmon, AR. They later moved to Houston, TX where they raised their small family. After 28 years of service, Colin retired from GSE and began his journey of retirement with Diann. He enjoyed fishing, camping, ham radios, traveling, and great times with family & friends. He passed from this life on November 29, 2019 in Houston, TX at the age of 68 years old. Before leaving this world he blessed others with the gift of life by donating his organs, helping other families in the process. Colin is preceded in death by his brother Olin (Greek) Perry and grandson Chase Dillon Johnston. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Diann Perry of Houston, TX, his daughters Lea O’Dell & husband Nicholas of Tahlequah, OK, and Christy Perry of Spring, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren Bryant Stamper, Keitha O’Dell, Brianna Stamper, Alec Perry, Britney O’Dell, along with his great grandchildren Jayden Pendergraft, Kodi Schneider, and Ember Perry. He is also survived by his parents Jack and Mary (Jewel) Perry of Springdale, AR, siblings Dolin (Mack) Perry and wife Sharon, Steven Perry and wife Tricia, Nolin (Gene) Perry and wife Debbie, Gabriel Mills and husband Richard, Alvin Perry and wife Elvia, as well as 15 nieces , nephews , and many other family & friends. A private gathering to celebrate his life to be announced at a later date.
