Dannie R. Bonds, 70, passed away on April 28, 2019 in Tomball, Texas. Dannie was born to Ralph Bonds and Anna (James) Bonds on November 9, 1948 in Salem, Kentucky.
On March 15, 1972 he married Eileen (Haskins) Bonds in Ferndale, Michigan. Dannie served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a combat medic. He served his country from June 17, 1970 until his honorable discharge on June 10, 1976.
He was a devoted family man and very much devoted to God. He read his Bible daily. When he was no longer able to read the Bible, he began using an app that made it possible to never miss a day. Dannie worked as a teacher’s aide for Sheltering Harbor, where he helped children with special needs. He loved his job.
Dannie reached out to family and friends to reconnect those relationship before his passing. He will forever remain in his family’s hearts and missed dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Anna Bonds, sister, LaDonna Todd and brother, Billy Bonds.
Dannie is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Eileen Bonds; daughters, E’lisa Bonds and Denise Odom (Bryan); grandchildren, Cameron Odom (Brittany), Jacob Odom (Ollivia), Trenton Odom, Madelyne Odom, Brady Odom, Landon Kackley, and Chandler Kackley; great-grandchildren, Titus Odom and Felicity Odom; and his siblings, Larry Bonds (Sandy) and Kevin Bonds (Elaine).
