Gloria Bell "Glo" (Cook) Holman, 65, was born on January 8th 1954, in the town of Hope, Arkansas to parents O.C. and Dolly Cook. Gloria was the youngest of three children, sharing her youth with sister Valerie and brother Gene. Gloria married Weldon Holman and gave birth to three children: Weldon Holman, Jr., William Holman, and Dolly Higgins. Gloria was a free spirit who forged her own path and was a close companion and confidant to her sister Valerie.
Gloria loved her dogs, singing back in the day, and country dancing was her passion. She loved to cook and was always trying to be funny.
Gloria went to be with the Lord on September 29th, 2019 with her family gathered by her side.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, O.C. and Dolly Bell Cook and great-grandson, Nathaniel Maximiliano Holman and is survived by her children: Weldon Holman and fiance LaTrisha Hernandez of New Caney, Texas Dean Holman, and Dolly Higgins, and son-in-law James Higgins; by her grandchildren: Deana McCaffery, Lyndsie Holman, Jaycee Holman, Lillie Higgins, Savannah Boudreaux, Karlin Higgins, and Zachary Jahn; and great-grandchildren: Kynleigh Wilson, Bransyn Wilson, Amanda Dabney, Atticus McCaffery; by her siblings: Valerie Bellew and Gene Cook; and by her nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on, Monday, October 7th 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Christ the Church, 18823 Mirror Lake Dr. Spring, TX 77388.
