Holly Teuscher Majka, 70, of Richmond, Texas, passed away on February 11, 2025. Born in Akron, Ohio, on January 27, 1955, Holly lived a life filled with learning, creativity, and love.
A true history enthusiast, Holly had a particular passion for American history, especially the Civil War era, and was always eager to learn and share her knowledge. She was not only a devoted student of history but also an accomplished author and speaker, bringing the past to life through her words and storytelling.
She also enjoyed exploring culinary interests and was known for her ability to "correct" recipes —turning every dish into something uniquely her own. Above all, she cherished time with her grandchildren, which she lovingly adored.
Holly is survived by her devoted husband, Scott Majka; her beloved son, Nathan Yerian, and his wife, Brittany Yerian; and her treasured grandchildren, Elijah and Rebecca Yerian.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her wit, warmth, and the love she poured into every moment with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary [www.saintfranciswolfsanctuary.org].
