Howard Scott “Trey” Wright III passed away January 16, 2019. Trey was born March 11, 1982 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Scott and Donna Wright. Trey grew up in Duncanville, Texas and later moved to Houston in high school. Trey loved sports, and while he lived in Houston most of his life, his early roots in Dallas made him an avid Cowboys, Rangers, and Mavericks fan for life. Trey graduated from Cy-Fair High School in 2000 and attended Stephen F Austin State University. He loved to cook and socialize so he was right at home with a career in food service. Trey had an infectious smile and an amazing sense of humor. He was gifted in making people around him laugh. He also had an ear for music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Trey is preceded in death by his father Howard Scott Wright Jr and mother Donna Lynn Atchison Wright, His grandparents Peggy and Lynn “Red” Atchison of Quanah, and Howard Scott and Mary Lou Wright of Wichita Falls. He is also preceded in death by his beloved aunt Sue Wright of Wichita Falls. Trey is survived by his sister Sadie Wright Davis and her husband Patton of Spring, Texas. His nephew and niece Jackson and Zoe of Spring. His Aunts and Uncles John and Kay Atchison of Houston and Julie and Steven Ruffino, also of Houston. Along with countless cousins and extended family. A private memorial service for family and friends will be held in his honor on February 2, 2019 from 1-4 pm.
