Jairo Antonio Pardo

Jairo Antonio Pardo, from Barranquilla, Colombia and longtime Houston resident, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2018 at the age of 63. Jairo was born to parents Antonio and Mariela Pardo on July 28, 1954. He moved to the United States in the summer of 2013 and made Houston his new home. The oldest of 5 siblings, Jairo focused his career and energy into coaching Soccer and loving the sport. Jairo is survived by his 106 ^th year old grandmother, Mercedes de Moreno; four sisters, Vilma Pardo, Claudia Pardo, Ruby Pardo, and Olga Pardo; and 5 nieces, Edna Rodriguez, Carolina Rodriguez, Maria F. Rosario, Camila Tellez, and Juliana Pardo. The cremation will take place the week of January 9 ^th , with a small gathering to follow. His ashes will be taken to Bogota, Colombia to be placed to rest. The family is grateful for the thoughts, prayers, and condolences.
