Jess E "Gene" Chesser 1946-2018

Jess E. "Gene" Chesser passed away suddenly on September 30, 2018. He is survived by his wife Lin; His brothers Robert L "Buddy" Chesser and Jay W "Bucky" Chesser and wife Yvonne; son Steven, wife Darchell, grandsons Quinn and Ty; and daughter Courtney Simpson and husband Ty; daughter Gina Jamison, husband Jeff, grandchildren Dustin, Ethan, and Alleson; stepdaughters Jennifer Cherry-Benson, Christen Cherry, and Jessica Cherry and granddaughter Lexi Ryan. Gene is preceded in death by his father Jesse Willard Chesser and Lennie Sofie Goodwin Province and his sister Linda Sanders. Gene lived life to the fullest and loved those around him with a full and open heart. He took great joy spreading knowledge and teaching others about the newest wonders of technology in a way that could make the most complex ideas seem simple. He traveled the world and was always taken in by the beauty of every new place he visited and made friends wherever he went. His work at Dell gave him purpose and fulfillment, he was blessed to have life-long friends that made him look forward to every new project and inspired him to be better and help those around him. Gene Chesser above all else loved his family. He cherished his wife Lin. He would light up when telling stories about his mom or get a chance to spend time with his brothers and would tell endless stories about the grandkids. Rest in Peace – yours was a life lived well.
