JOHN “Eddie” EDWARD DELEON, 59, of Bellaire, Texas, passed away on the morning of July 12, 2020. Eddie was born in rural area of Alief, TX. Early in his childhood his family moved to Bellaire, Texas where he participated in little league baseball and attended Bellaire High School. Growing up Eddie enjoyed spending time with his siblings, hanging out with friends, playing outside and riding motorcycles. He took great pride in landscaping, coaching and his work ethic. His determination of hard work showed as he developed his own small landscaping business. Eddie appreciated all types of music especially classical rock; and was frequently found at live concerts with his loved ones. More importantly, he was proud of his daughter becoming a Doctor, his grandbaby, and his son’s passion for baseball. John Edward had a heart of gold. We will continue to live through him and remember his acts of kindness.
He is survived by his parents John and Margaret DeLeon, his daughter Dr. Krystal DeLeon, his daughter and son-in-law Misty and Michael Fretwell, his son Christian John DeLeon, his grandson Oliver Michael Fretwell. Also his sister and brother-in-law Linda and Glen DeVore, his brother and sister-in-law Samuel and Robin DeLeon, his sister and brother-in-law Norma and Greg Stanford, his nephews Jonathan Cutler, Justin Cutler, Joshua DeLeon and niece Elizabeth DeLeon. Along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
