Josie S. Clark

Josefina Sanchez (81) was born July 30, 1938 and passed away Saturday June 27, 2020. After a long fight with Alzheimer Disease. Josie as most called her, was the daughter of Ramon Sanchez and Juanita Ortiz Perez born in San Juan Puerto Rico. She met and married John R. Earl (Dick) and they raised five children in Erie IL. Later in life she married James A. Clark and they resided in Port Byron, IL and spent their winters in Winter Haven FL. She spent the last seven years living in Texas near her daughter Michele and husband Mark. She enjoyed fishing, crafts, bingo and cooking for her family. She loved visiting Puerto Rico and traveling.   She is survived by her daughter Debra Earl and David Russell of St. Francisville LA, daughter Sandra Miller of Rockfalls IL, daughter Michele Levin and husband Mark of Katy, TX, daughter Susan Bentley and husband Sean of Clinton, IA, and twenty-six grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband John R. Earl, her husband James A. Clark, her son Ronald R. Earl and her Grandson Thomas R. Ryan. Due to the Covid-19 conditions a celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later time in IL.
