Juan Carlos Mendoza, un amado esposo, padre y hermano, falleció pacíficamente el 14 de febrero de 2025 en The Woodlands, Texas. Nació el 17 de agosto de 1962 en México y su recorrido por la vida estuvo marcado por el amor, la risa y la dedicación a su familia.

Juan fue orgulloso alumno de la Universidad Michoacana, donde el persiguio sus metas. Su verdadera passion fue la lectura, historia y filosofia.

Apreciaba cada momento que pasaba con su familia, y su hijo, Luis Carlos, recuerda con cariño la Navidad que compartieron juntos. Disfrutaban viendo Netflix y comiendo bocadillos todo el día, un recuerdo simple pero profundo que encapsulaba el amor de Juan por pasar tiempo de calidad con las personas que más quería. Los fines de semana Juan solía pasear con el perro de la familia, disfrutar tranquilamente de la naturaleza y crear recuerdos inolvidables.

Juan tenía una gran afinidad por la música y el tequila, y se reunía con frecuencia con amigos y familiares para celebrar la vida. Su habilidad para unir a la gente y fomentar un ambiente cálido y amoroso no tenía paralelo.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, María Sonia Mendoza, y sus hijos: Luis Carlos Mendoza, Karla Zelaya, Sonia Chávez y Wilson Robles. Además, Juan deja atrás a sus queridos hermanos: Gerardo Ramiro Mendoza Gil. Elia Dinazar Mendoza Gil, Ma. Yocupitzia Mendoza Gil, Rafael Mendoza Gil y Anabel Mendoza Gil, quienes recordarán por siempre su espíritu alegre y su amor inquebrantable.

El recuerdo de Juan Carlos Mendoza vivirá a través de todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Tocó innumerables vidas con su calidez y encanto, y lo extrañaremos mucho.

Los servicios de velatorio se llevarán a cabo el 21 de febrero de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica St. James, ubicada en 22800 Aldine Westfield Road, Spring, Texas. El horario es el siguiente: velatorio de 11:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m., rosario a las 11:15 a. m. y misa a partir de las 12:00 p. m. Habrá otro velatorio esa noche en el Salón de Recepciones Rankin Palace, 610 Rankin Circle North, Houston, Texas, de 6:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m.

Juan Carlos Mendoza, a beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025, in The Woodlands, Texas. He was born on August 17, 1962, in Mexico, and his journey through life was marked by love, laughter, and dedication to his family.

Juan was a proud alumnus of Universidad Michoacana, where he pursued his goals. His true passion was read, history and philosophy. 

He cherished every moment spent with his family, and his son, Luis Carlos, fondly reminisces about the Christmas they shared together. They delighted in watching Netflix and snacking all day, a simple yet profound memory that encapsulated Juan's love for spending quality time with those he cared for most. The weekends often found Juan taking long walks with the family dog, leisurely enjoying nature and creating cherished memories along the way.

Juan held an affinity for music and tequila, frequently gathering with friends and family to celebrate life. His knack for bringing people together and fostering a warm, loving atmosphere was unparalleled.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Sonia Mendoza, and their children: Luis Carlos Mendoza, Karla Zelaya, Sonia Chavez, and Wilson Robles. Additionally, Juan leaves behind his cherished siblings: Gerardo Ramiro Mendoza Gil. Elia Dinazar Mendoza Gil, Ma. Yocupitzia Mendoza Gil, Rafael Mendoza Gil y Anabel Mendoza Gil, who will forever remember his joyful spirit and unwavering love.

Juan Carlos Mendoza's memory will live on through all who had the privilege of knowing him. He touched countless lives with his warmth and charm, and he will be dearly missed.

Visitation services will take place on February 21, 2025, at St. James Catholic Church, located at 22800 Aldine Westfield Road, Spring, Texas. The schedule is as follows: Visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Rosary at 11:15 AM, and Mass starting at 12:00 PM. There will be another Visitation that evening at Rankin Palace Reception Hall, 610 Rankin Circle North, Houston, Texas, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
