Kenneth Reid Hilliard

Our own personal Angel from Heaven, Kenneth Reid Hilliard, went to Jesus’ house on February 23rd, 2023. The verse Luke 10:27 states“ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself” describes everything that was our Kenneth. He was not boastful, he was self-sacrificing, he gave love unconditionally to every person he met, and he adored his family regardless of their flaws.

The blessings he gave us will last forever in our hearts, souls, and minds. God knew what he was doing when he brought Kenneth into this world and if not for him our family would have never been what we are today. Kenneth was aware that his mom would be passing soon, so he went before her to prepare heaven for their reunion.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Harrison Hilliard, Stepfather Gordon Craigs, and his “Asshole” Richard Govan.

He is survived by his mother Eugenia Govan, Sister Cynthia Polk, Niece and Nephew Trish and Steve Fleming, Niece and Nephew Linda and Troy Morvant, Niece and Nephew Carla and Brandon Powell, Nephew Kyle Poarch. He was also blessed with Great Nieces and Nephews, Jaide Fleming, Jacob Fleming, Cody Webb, Joann Webb, Lydia Morvant, Dustin Webb, KT Morvant, Kaitlyn Hillmer, Nathaniel Hillmer, Jasmine Powell, Jackson Fleming, KW Poarch, Asher Webb, and Atlas Hillmer.

Our hearts are sad, and he will be missed greatly, but we know that he is running through heaven with his new godly body and enjoying time with his mom.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor at Clementines Restaurant on March 2, 2023 from 3-5.
