Kon Phumkaew

Kon Phumkaew, a beloved member of the community, passed away on February 18, 2025, in Spring, Texas. Born on July 1, 1958, in Samngam Phichit, Thailand, Kon led a life filled with compassion and warmth, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Kon’s journey began in his hometown in Thailand, where he was surrounded by the beauty of his native landscape and the richness of its culture. His early years shaped the values he carried throughout his life, instilling in him a deep respect for family, friendship, and tradition.

In pursuit of a better life and opportunities, he made the courageous decision to move to the United States, where he settled in Spring, Texas. There, he became an integral part of his community, known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit.

Kon's life was defined by his commitment to his work, his family, friends, and the shared moments that brought joy to his days. He touched the lives of many with his thoughtful nature and infectious optimism. His legacy lives on through the cherished memories of those who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Family First Cremation Services located at 3723 Spring Stuebner Suite D, Spring, Texas, 77389. The visitation will commence at 6:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM.
