Krisline Villahermosa, a beloved Clerk for the Harris Sheriff's Office, passed away on August 26, 2024 in Humble, Texas, at the age of 35. Born on June 23, 1989, in Cebu, Philippines, she dedicated her life to serving others with her warm heart and generous spirit.
Krisline earned her Bachelor's degree in Hospitality from Cebu Technological University, laying the foundation for her career and her unwavering commitment to community service. As a clerk for the Harris County Sheriff's Office, she exemplified the values of hard work, dedication, and compassion, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and community members alike.
Not only was Krisline known for her professional integrity, but she was also a loving and spontaneous individual who cherished her family and friends. Her vibrant personality and kind nature left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a love for travel, which brought her unforgettable experiences, including a memorable dinner in the sky in Athens, Greece. She held dear the joy of family trips to the Frio River and celebrated a significant milestone when she became a U.S. citizen, a moment made even more special by celebrating it with her newborn nephew, Gio Vanni.
Krisline is survived by her spouse, Valeria Barrera; her mother, Alma Villar; her father, Crisanto Villahermosa; and her siblings, Julie Tristan Villahermosa, Britt Villahermosa, Rodney Villahermosa, Divine Grace Schober, and Genezah Villahermosa. Each of these family members will forever carry in their hearts the treasured memories of their time with Krisline.
A memorial service in her honor will take place at the Harris County Sheriff's Office Academy, located at 2316 Atascocita Road, Humble, TX 77396, on September 10, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held later that same day at Lindale Church, 503 Reid Street, Houston, TX 77022, beginning at 6:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM.
Krisline Villahermosa's profound warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, generosity, and adventurous spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
