Lauren Mattil, a cherished daughter, partner, mother, sister, and granddaughter departed from this world too soon at the tender age of 31. Her untimely passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her.
Born on April 21, 1992, she was baptized into Christ on May 10,1992, confirmed her faith on May 1, 2005, and entered God’s Eternal Kingdom on March 14, 2024. Lauren brought joy and laughter into the lives of those around her from the beginning. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious smile endeared her to all who crossed her path. She possessed an innate ability to light up a room with her laughter and make everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her youth was filled with her love of music; she had a beautiful voice and the natural ability to play the piano.
Lauren’s journey was cut short due to an unexpected and accidental overdose. Though this circumstance brings profound sorrow, it does not define the beautiful person she was. She battled the challenges that many face, yet she continually fought her addiction and always strived for a better tomorrow.
In the midst of her life's struggles, Lauren found love in the arms of her devoted partner, Christian Blake Dacey. Together, they welcomed into the world their precious daughter, Isabella Reign Dacey on September 23, 2023, who was the light their life. Lauren adored Isabella with all her heart, was a loving and caring mother; and that love will continue to guide her daughter's path.
She leaves behind her partner Christian Dacey, daughter Isabella Dacey, loving parents Patricia MacGregor and Stephen Mattil, her cherished brother Joshua, as well as her grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends - all of whom mourn her passing deeply.
Lauren's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she find peace in the embrace of eternity, and may her spirit continue to shine through the lives she touched.
A private memorial service to celebrate Lauren’s life will be held on April 12, 2024, at Sparkman-Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests anyone wishing to honor Lauren’s memory, contribute to an Educational Fund for her daughter Isabella. Contributions should be made out to Isabella Dacey and mailed to same at 3619 Northwest Pkwy, Dallas, TX. 75225
Though she may be gone from our sight, Lauren will never be forgotten, for she lives on in the memories we hold close and the love that will forever surround us. Rest in peace, dear Lauren.Visits: 629
