Michael Lunburg, 78, of Spring, Tx passed away on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, surrounded by his family. Michael was born on May 12th, 1946, in Jersey City, NJ to the late Doris and Gus Lunburg. He lived in Union City and later moved to North Bergen where he attended North Bergen High School. He then went to LIU where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He met his wife Patricia while they were both working at the Union City Public Library. They later moved to Houston, TX in 1980 and then later to Spring, Tx where they currently resided. He worked in sales for his entire career including Pepperidge Farm, Campbell Soup, McKesson, and Weight Watchers. He joined the United States Army in 1967 and proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed listening to all genres of music, watching movies and was an amateur magician. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia (nee -Cuozzo) Lunburg, his sister Linda Hoefling, his daughters, Dawn Caldwell and husband Kenny, Kimberly Jones and husband Bobby, and his grandchildren, Alyssa Guzman, Matthew Jones, Christopher Caldwell and wife Allison, and Candice Rogers and husband Donald.
For those living in Texas, there will be a mass held at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, June 14th at 11:30 a.m.
There will also be a small entombment ceremony in New Jersey at the Madonna Cemetery and Mausoleum in Fort Lee, New Jersey on Monday, June 24th at 1:30 p.m.
The world has truly lost a remarkable soul in Michael J. Lunburg, but his spirit will forever remain in the lives of those he touched. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a difference in the lives of so many.Visits: 322
