Nancy Ann Gonzalez

Nancy Ann Gonzalez (Powell), 1936/04/23 – 2020/11/03   Nancy Ann Gonzalez left this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, after complications with COVID.  Born April 23rd, to Christine and Aub Powell, she was raised in Whitehall, Michigan.  In 1975, she moved to the Texas Gulf Coast, and spent most of her life in and around the Gulf Coast area.  Nancy spent many years employed by The Woodland Operating Company in The Woodlands and enjoyed wonderful relationships with her colleagues, her vendors and her customers.

Nancy will be remembered for her strong work ethic, her strong spirit, her patriotism and love for life and people.  She also loved to write and had a way with words. She was also an avid gardener.  She was also active at The Woodlands United Methodist Church in the senior adult ministry. During the last two years of her life, she enjoyed spending time with her special friend, Merle. Nancy was vibrant had many friends and acquaintances

Nancy is survived by her brother, Barry Powell (Yolan) of Belleville, Michigan,her daughter Juliet Franklyn (Matthew) of Spring, Texas, her step-daughter Helen Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee, her step-son Carlos Gonzalez, grandchildren Jacob Franklyn, Helen’s adult children, Stephanie and Dustin and great-grandchild Farrah.

A service of celebration for Nancy’s life currently has not been scheduled.
