Pauline Marie Speyer

Pauline Marie Speyer was born August 11, 1935 to Ina Hamilton and Maxie Hamilton in San Diego, California. She was a resident of Magnolia, Texas and died on September 17, 2018 in Tomball, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Catherine Smith, and her sister Maxine Whatley.  Pauline is survived by her husband, Fred Speyer and her children: Linda and Dwight Rutledge Cindy and Stuart Barrowman Coleen and Rico Hargis Matthew and Ines Freeman Marianne Bates Donna Schexnieder Julie and David Harris Monica and Todd Kimball Gary and Ann Speyer Gregory Speyer She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren She is survived by her Siblings:  Carol La Plante, Preston Hamilton, and Anita Smedley and by her many nieces and nephews. Pauline was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved serving in the many callings she was honored with over her lifetime. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ meant a great deal to her and was a guiding force in her life.  She was a teacher at heart and taught with her words as well as her actions.  Pauline touched too many lives and hearts to count. The lives of those she touched will be forever enriched. Pauline loved music and had a beautiful voice.  She sang with her sisters from a very early age and they instilled a love of music in all of their children. Pauline played the lap steel guitar and could harmonize to any melody.  We know the heavenly choir is enjoying her talents! But most of all Pauline loved her family.  Her children and grandchildren were her greatest accomplishments and her greatest joy in life.  She worked hard in this life and yet she always whistled or hummed while she worked.  She taught us all to wake up with a song in our heart and a smile on our face.  She was loved by all and she will be missed by all.
