Richard William Worley, Sr. " Dickie"

We regretfully announce the passing of Richard William Worley, Sr. "Dickie" 78 of Spring, Texas on July 31, 2021 Dickie was predeceased by his wonderful grandmother Dolly Waddell, parents, R.W. Worley and Genora “Big Mama” Ferguson, along with her husband C.D., and his sister JoAnna Worley Gaddis. He is survived by Margaret Trammell Worley, his wife of 58 years, and their 6 children. Son Richard Worley, Jr “Richie” and wife Kathy, Son Byron Worley and wife Tara, Daughter Tonya Worley Murski and husband Gary, Son Trevor Worley and wife Deanna, Son Christopher Worley “Chris”, Son Cevin Worley and wife Renee, Brother Charles Ferguson II “Foots” and wife Cathy, Sister Pat Ferguson Cheatham and husband Charles, Sister Vivian Ferguson Henderson and husband Frank, Sister Trudy Ferguson Breazeale and husband Jim, 7 Grandchildren: Logan Worley and wife Carley, Kaylyn McGowan-Worley, Kasey Worley, Aubree Worley, Karrigan Worley, Amberlyn Worley, Brant Worley, 5 Great Grandchildren: Emilia Rangel, Kane McGee, Cecilia Rangel, Nova McGee, Hadley Worley, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Dickie Graduated from Sam Houston High School in January 1962. He was a devoted coach for the Northside National Little League in the 1970s and 1980s, where he also served as President of the League in the 1980s. He retired at age 50 after  30 years of service with SW Bell/AT&T.  Dickie then started his own company, Worley Communications, which thrived for 20 years before completely retiring to enjoy time with his family. A memorial will be held on Saturday August 14, 2021 at NSN Little League, 901 Canino Rd, Houston, Texas 77076, Dodson, Field # 2, at 10:00 a.m. , there will reception following at 19827 Bishops Gate Lane, Humble Texas 77338.
