Sharon Kay Wallace, 74, of Colorado City, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2023. She was born on November 15, 1948. Sharon was a sweet and loving woman who always put others before herself. Her selflessness and caring nature touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Sharon grew up in Colorado City and it was there that her generous spirit blossomed. From a young age, she had a natural inclination to care for others and would go above and beyond to lend a helping hand. Her kindness knew no bounds as she consistently put the needs of others before her own.
One of Sharon's greatest joys was spending time in the kitchen. She had an undeniable talent for cooking and loved trying out new recipes. Her family and friends were always thrilled to taste her culinary creations, which she prepared with love and meticulous attention to detail. Sharon's meals became a cherished tradition during gatherings and holidays, creating a warm sense of togetherness.
When Sharon wasn't in the kitchen whipping up delightful dishes, she could often be found engrossed in puzzles. Whether it was jigsaw puzzles or crosswords, she enjoyed the mental stimulation they provided. They served as both a leisurely activity and an opportunity to challenge her mind. Puzzles became an intricate part of her life, offering moments of tranquility while exercising her sharp intellect.
Sharon will be deeply missed by all those whom she touched throughout her life. She is survived by her loving children Kristopher James Wallace, Kimberly Ann Veitch, and Karla Lynn Veitch. Her grandchildren-- Ashley, Amber, Aliyah, Jordan, Sidney, Chloe, and Brady-- brought immense joy into her life and regarded her with admiration for her unwavering love and guidance.
In honoring Sharon's memory, we should strive to emulate her exceptional traits—her compassion for others and dedication to family. She taught us the importance of selflessness and the incredible impact a kind heart can have on others.
