Timorthy Duterrell Hagans, a beloved child nutrition manager at IDEA Public School in Houston, passed away on September 14, 2023. He was born on February 4, 1978, in Hattiesburg, MS. Timorthy's selfless nature and compassionate personality made him an exceptional individual who always put others before himself. His demise is mourned by his family, friends, and the community he served with dedication.

Timorthy graduated from East Marion High School in 1997 and went on to serve his country in the armed forces. He proudly served in the US Army from 1996 to 1998 and was also a member of the US Navy in 1998. Timorthy's service to his nation exemplified his unwavering commitment and patriotism.

In both his personal and professional life, Timorthy consistently demonstrated a genuine care for others. As a child nutrition manager at IDEA Public School, he worked tirelessly to ensure that students received nutritious meals each day. His impact on the lives of the students he served cannot be understated, as he played a vital role in their overall well-being.

Timorthy was a beloved husband to Jugonduo Hagans and a loving son to Ora Nell Ducre. He leaves behind cherished memories with his daughters Danielle Foster, Xiomara Harvey-Russell, Zanika Harvey-Russell, Monet Victor; as well as his son Joseph Aultman. Timorthy's presence brought immense joy to their lives and they will forever carry his memory within their hearts.

In addition to his immediate family members, Timorthy will be deeply missed by his surviving family members and friends including James Walter Newsom (father), Jessie Lee Newsom (grandmother), Lettie Mae Harvey (grandmother), Hezzie Newsom (grandfather), JT Harvey (grandfather), Uriah Newsom (uncle), and Arthur Paul Newsom (uncle). Their love and support meant the world to Timorthy, and he cherished the time spent with each and every one of them.

Timorthy's caring nature extended beyond humans. He had a deep affection for animals and left behind his cherished fur baby, Cole. Their bond was a testament to his loving spirit.

His legacy of kindness, compassion, and selflessness will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
