Vicki Louise Ferrell, 79, peacefully passed away at her home in Spring, Texas on February 11 surrounded by her loving husband and children.
She was born in Coleman, Texas on January 2, 1942 to parents Clois and Ruth Clark and graduated from Pecos High School in 1960. She devoted her life’s work to the profession of dentistry, serving in roles ranging from dental assistant to front desk administrator.
Vicki loved to sing in her church choir, worshipping her Savior and sharing her beautiful alto voice with us all! She participated in numerous Christmas and Easter cantatas, willing to put on any costume that was required.
Vicki also loved to travel with her husband and friends visiting places like Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Cancun and Alaska, with her favorite being Italy.
Vicki is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jo Ann. Surviving in addition to her husband, Bob Ferrell of Spring, are her children, Holly (Ward) Lieou and her husband, Narith of Allen; Kevin Henson and his wife, Kerry of Magnolia; four grandchildren, Jordan Lieou, Kayla Henson, Olivia Lieou, Luke Henson; sister Kaye Turner and her husband, Jess of Graham; the father of her children, I.B. (Bob) Henson, and his wife, Melissa of Salt Lake City; nephew Derek Turner and his wife, Ann of Keller; niece Keri (Turner) Stuart and her husband, Ricky of Weatherford; brother-in-law, Gene Ferrell and his wife, Glenda of Longview, as well as several step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A private service of remembrance will be held 11am, Friday February 26 at Spring Baptist Church, 633 East Louetta Rd., Spring, TX for family and close friends. Those who wish to remember Vicki in a special way may make contributions to the Worship Ministry of Spring Baptist Church in her memory.
