William Thomas Lantrip Sr.

William Thomas Lantrip Sr, 84 years of age, passed on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Grimes county. He was born July 31, 1935, in Conroe, Texas the son of John Hudson and Grace (Williams) Lantrip Sr. He is predeceased by his parents and siblings Harold Lantrip, and Joy Valentine. Survivors include siblings John Lantrip, and Doris Mooney. William leaves two children, William Thomas Lantrip Jr. and Pamela Jayne Kerby, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. William honorably served in the United States Marine Corp during The Korean War Era from 1952-1954 and received an honorable discharge.  Following his military service, William worked as building contractor in a family business. Graveside funeral service with be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Bethel Cemetery in Appleby, Texas.
